Over 90 years ago, NettieBay Lodge was established to be a place of relaxation, silence, and beauty. Tucked away in Northeast Michigan (lower peninsula), you can take that much-needed long weekend off or extended furlough in the comfort of our resort. NettieBay Lodge is not only a great place for quiet, restful times, but it is also ready to spoil you with activities and learning workshops.
Activities that include hunting, fishing, and split bamboo fly rod making. Educational activities that include bird identification workshops, photography, and stone masonry workshops. Exciting hunts such as spring turkey hunts, fall grouse/woodcock, whitetail hunting, archery, rifles, and black powder. One can always enjoy cross-country trails, ice fishing on Lake Nettie, and so much more!
Our spring season starts with learning vacations, while summer is filled with family fun! Fall begins with outdoor hunting activities clearing the way to the magic of a true winter wonderland.
Our newly updated rental cabins can house up to 45 people and are available for extended times and also group discounted rates. Groups can also build their own packages, with or without meals, and an activity they would like to enjoy. This is perfect for the many outdoor lovers and retreat groups wanting to spend some time away together. Our cool Michigan temperatures make for beautiful days and nights. Average temperatures during the summer season are in the upper seventies and low eighties.
NettieBay Lodge has been a vacation destination for many well-known names, such as Senator Walter North and several TV celebrities, Bob Garner, James Ford, Jenny Olson, and Jimmy Gretzinger, as well as several writers like Tom Huggler, Eric Sharp, Tom Loundsbury, and Jim McCormick.
